      Website Terms of Use

      Effective date: 17 April 2026 | Last reviewed: 17 April 2026

These terms explain the rules for using the Ambient Driveways website. By visiting or using ambientdriveways.co.uk, you agree to these terms. They are written in plain English and are intended to be straightforward. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use this website.
      Who we are
This website is operated by Ambient Driveways Limited (company number 03816823), a family-run driveway, patio paving and landscaping contractor based in Bolton, Lancashire. Founded in 1985 by Anthony Milton, we have been delivering quality outdoor projects across Bolton, Bury, Manchester and Lancashire for over 40 years. You can reach us on 01204 847369.

      Using this website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

Use this site in any way that breaches applicable local, national or international law
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its underlying systems
Introduce viruses, malware or any other harmful material
Reproduce or redistribute any content — including project photography — without our prior written permission
Use automated tools to scrape or harvest content or data from this site
Use this site to send unsolicited commercial communications
We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access to this website at our discretion and without notice.

      Enquiries and quotations
This website allows you to submit an enquiry about a driveway, patio or landscaping project. Submitting an enquiry or requesting a quote does not constitute a confirmed order or binding contract.

All projects begin with a free site survey and quotation. A contract is only formed once a written quotation has been accepted by the customer and confirmed in writing by Ambient Driveways. Work will not commence until this has been agreed.

We reserve the right to decline any enquiry at our discretion — for example where a project falls outside our service area or does not meet our minimum project criteria.

      Guarantees and workmanship
      Our guarantees
All work carried out by Ambient Driveways is covered by a minimum 5-year workmanship guarantee. Where Marshalls products are used, a separate 10-year product guarantee applies, backed by Marshalls as a member of the Marshalls Register of Approved Landscape Contractors.

Guarantee terms are set out in your written quotation and contract documentation. Guarantees apply to work carried out by Ambient Driveways and are subject to the conditions stated therein. They do not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

      Planning permission and permitted development
Certain driveway and hard-standing projects may require planning permission, particularly where permeable drainage requirements apply under permitted development rules. It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm whether planning permission is required for their specific project before work commences.

Ambient Driveways will advise on drainage and SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage) requirements where relevant, but we cannot be held responsible for any failure by the customer to obtain the necessary permissions prior to works beginning. If in doubt, please consult your local planning authority before accepting a quotation.

      Property access and site conditions
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that safe and reasonable access to the property is available on the agreed start date and throughout the duration of the works. Any underground services, utilities or obstructions that may affect the project must be disclosed prior to work commencing. Ambient Driveways accepts no liability for damage to undisclosed underground services.

Where site conditions differ materially from those assessed during the survey visit, we reserve the right to revise the quotation accordingly and will discuss any changes with the customer before proceeding.

      Sustainability and waste
Ambient Driveways is committed to responsible waste management. We recycle up to 85% of all excavated and waste material from projects. All waste disposal is carried out in accordance with applicable environmental legislation. Where we carry waste from a project, we do so under the appropriate waste carrier licence.

You may not reproduce, redistribute or use any content from this site for commercial purposes without our written consent. You may print or save pages for your own personal, non-commercial reference.
